March: Environmental Month

In conjunction with Enviornmental Month, the interactors of SMK Bandar Sri Damansara 1 organized a recycling drive from 19th of March to 24th of March. A recycling centre was set up around school and flyers were given to the students. Although we had to keep on taking efforts in making sure that the recycling centre was in a good condition, we were very amazed by the great response from the students. Seeing the huge number of bottles, aluminium cans and papers which were usually littered around school being thrown into the right bins made us feel so happy. We believe that a recycling culture among the students can be cultivated, albeit slowly, but surely.
